COVID-19 Update

MGA Training have introduced a variety of measures to ensure our training centre is as safe as possible for candidates and staff.

Although we have now been placed in tier 3, this has mainly affected the social side of our area. You are still allowed to travel for work and education purposes therefore all of our courses are still running.

When you enter our training centre you will be greeted by your CPCS trainer/tester who will show you where to scan the required track and trace QR code. Once you have completed these details you will then be required to have your temperature taken. This is noted down along with the time you arrived, followed by your signature. This will ensure we have all your details for the governments track and trace system.

There is access to hand sanitiser throughout the building, please ensure this is used.

Our communal areas are kept to a minimum with signs indicating the strict number of people allowed in the area.

If you experience any symptoms that you think may be linked to Coronavirus, please alert your Instructor immediately and you will be required to go home and self- isolate.

If you are at home and experience any symptoms, please do not come into our training centre. Please notify us as soon as possible that you will not be able to attend by calling 01617079865 or by emailing kelly@mgatraining.co.uk

Do I have to wear a face covering?

There is no requirement to wear a face covering outside, however, social distancing guidelines should still be followed.

Inside, or in classrooms, face coverings are optional as all our classrooms meet the social distance guidelines of 2 metres. We also take advantage of our vast out- door area, however strict social distancing rules still apply.

If you are taking your health & safety touch screen test with us, you will be required to wear a face covering during the test

Will I have to bring food and drink with me, or will food outlets be open?

We encourage all candidates to bring a bottle of water. However, all food outlets, including Tesco are still open as usual.

What will happen in the event of another lockdown, if the training centre has to close

Should another lockdown occur, forcing the centre to close, all courses that need to be rescheduled will have the option to be refunded or they can be rebook for a later date.

What do I do if someone in my household tests positive for Covid-19?

If someone you live with tests positive for Covid-19, and following Public Health England’s guidance, you are required to self-isolate for 14 days. Please inform the training centre as soon as possible.
